This entry is part of Mastering Sun xVM VirtualBox Workshop

This thread shows needed steps to import VMware Solaris based VMs into VirtualBox, you can use it also as an inspiration for importing/exporting Solaris based VMs created in Parralles, QEMU, MS VirtualPC , KVM or XEN from/to VirtualBox.

I will use as a sample Virtual Appliance with “Solaris 10 u5 64 bit” and “OpenSolaris 200805, 200811-93” 64 bit VMware Server based installations.

I will demonstrate on this systems basic procedures for Solaris V2V Virtual-2-Virtual migration.
